Austin Byler hit three home runs, and drove in four runs as the Missoula Osprey beat the Grand Junction Rockies 12-2 Sunday afternoon at Suplizio Field, sending the Rockies to their seventh straight loss.

Grand Junction has now lost 11-of-13, and is 2-8 in the second half, 22-26 overall.

The first six Osprey reached base. Isan Diaz started the game with a double, and after Marcus Wilson reached on an error, Luke Lowery doubled home the game's first two runs. After Byler singled home Lowery, Jason Morozowski doubled, sending Byler to third. Raymel Flores followed with a walk to load the bases. The fourth run of the inning scored when Joey Armstrong grounded into a double play, and the inning was capped by Matt McPhearson's RBI single, but they didn't stop there.

In the second, two of their first three hitters walked. Lowery made the Rockies pay with his eighth home run of the season, and Byler followed with his seventh.

Grand Junction got on the board with two runs in the bottom of the second. Chris Rabago brought the first run home with a bases loaded sacrifice fly. Chris Keck followed with an RBI double, but Kal Simmons doubled home a run in the third, and Byler homered in the fourth to make it 11-2, and he started the sixth inning with his third home run of the day.

That was all the offense until the Rockies rallied for four runs in the ninth. Daniel Suero singled home a pair, while the next two Rockie's runs scored on wild pitches.

Suero finished with three hits for his 17th multi-hit game of the season. Ferguson finished with a hit and a walk, extending his hit streak to 10 games.
