
Bullies Ride Victory over Cyclones to Playoffs

Cincinnati, OH -- The Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies secured a playoff spot in the Northeast Division with a 6-4 win over the Cyclones on Saturday at U.S. Bank Arena.
The Bullies jumped to a 3-1 lead after the first period. Mike Casselman opened the scoring for Cincinnati just 1:53 into the game, before the Bullies notched three consecutive goals for the two-goal edge.
In the second period, the Cyclones had goals from Joe Cardarelli and Casselman to pull within one at 4-3.
Cincinnati would tie the game at 4-4 in the third period on Matt Noga's 21st goal of the season at 5:14 of the frame. Atlantic City, though, would strike to recapture the lead at 13:23 then added an empty-net goal late for the 6-4 win.
The Cyclones travel to Wheeling, West Virginia to take on the Nailers on Sunday at 3:00 PM.
