Green Bay, Wis.- The Green Bay Bullfrogs swept the first-place Kenosha Kingfish at Joannes Stadium on June 22, highlighted by another solid start for Bullfrogs' ace Garrett Harrison.

Harrison pitched 6 1/3 shutout innings to earn the win with two strikeouts. He allowed three hits and walked five batters but improved his earned run average to 1.33 on the season.

Dillon Mazzoccoli picked up the loss for Kenosha in five innings and allowed four earned runs on seven hits and two walks with a strikeout.

The Bullfrogs scored first right away in the bottom of the first inning. Logan Taylor led off the inning with a hit-by-pitch and scored on a sacrifice fly hit by Ryan Donovan, who increased his team-leading RBI total to 26 in the game.

Green Bay plated another run when Mikey Duarte reached on error to third to score Robb Paller.

In his third game with the Bullfrogs, Paller reached base four times with two singles, a home run, a walk and two runs scored.

Taylor hit a run-scoring single to leftfield to give the Bullfrogs a 3-0 advantage in the bottom of the second.

The game remained 3-0 until the fifth when the Bullfrogs connected on a pair of home runs. With one out, Paller hit a line drive that cleared the rightfield wall, and Ryan Donovan launched a booming solo shot to right two batters later.

After Harrison walked a batter, he was relieved with one out in the seventh to give way to Connor Donovan, who threw one pitch in the inning with a double play to shortstop Duarte. Donovan completed the final 2 2/3 innings for the Bullfrogs.

Green Bay scored in the seventh with a two-out RBI single for Danny Rosenbaum to score Paller. The Bullfrogs added two more in the eighth with a sacrifice fly for Franco Guardascione and a run-scoring infield hit for Taylor.

Kenosha received a bloop RBI single to right-centerfield by Hunter Alexander in the top of the ninth to prevent the shutout.

The Bullfrogs improved their record to 14-11 and will open up a two-game home series against the Lakeshore Chinooks at 7:05 for Summertime St. Patty's and Go Green Night. Gates will open one hour prior the first pitch.
