
Bulldogs Sunk By Admirals In 3-2 Loss

Hamilton, ON - The Hamilton Bulldogs were defeated by the Milwaukee Admirals 3-2 on Tuesday night in front of 2,063 fans at Copps Coliseum. Milwaukee scored three third period goals to secure the victory.
The Bulldogs opened the scoring at 9:37 of the opening frame. Mike Glumac fired a shot that was saved by Milwaukee starting goaltender Chet Pickard. The rebound bounced onto the stick of David Desharnais, who was positioned in front of the net. Desharnais whacked the loose rebound past a sprawled Pickard.
The Admirals tied the game 1-1 at 7:28 of the third stanza. Scott Ford blasted a shot from the point that was tipped by Colin Wilson in front of the net. The puck trickled through the pads of Hamilton starting goaltender Curtis Sanford. Milwaukee took a 2-1 lead at 8:05. Nolan Yonkman received the puck from Peter Olvecky before hammering a shot from the right point. The puck sailed through traffic before bouncing off the right side post and into the top of the net. Olvecky added the Admirals third goal at 11:08 while on the power play. Cody Franson received a pass from Cal O'Reilly before firing a shot from the point. While stationed in front of the net Olvecky redirected the puck past Sanford and into the net.
Hamilton added a goal at 17:48 of the final frame. Greg Stewart sent a pass to Mathieu Darche who one-timed the puck past Pickard and into the net. J.T. Wyman also earned an assist on the goal.
