AHL Announces Suspension

December 15, 2009 - American Hockey League (AHL) News Release


SPRINGFIELD, Mass. ... The American Hockey League today announced that Syracuse Crunch goaltender Kevin Lalande has been suspended for two games as a result of his actions in a game at Binghamton on Dec. 12.

At the 20:00 mark of the second period, Lalande was assessed a game misconduct under the provisions of AHL Rule 75.5(ii) for making an obscene gesture.

Lalande will miss Syracuse's games tonight (Dec. 15) at Rochester and Friday (Dec. 18) vs. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.
