
Bulldogs Reassign Schultz, Release Armstrong, Isherwoood

HAMILTON, ONT - Montreal Canadiens and Hamilton Bulldogs General Manager Marc Bergevin announced today that the Canadiens have reassigned forward Ian Schultz to the Utah Grizzlies of the ECHL and that the Bulldogs have released forward Riley Armstrong and defenceman Mark Isherwood from their Professional Try-Out Contracts.
Schultz, 22, played two games for the Bulldogs against the Abbotsford Heat and recorded two shots on goal and two penalty minutes.
Armstrong, 28, played two games for Hamilton against Abbotsford and registered three shots on goal and two penalty minutes.
Isherwood, 23, played two games for the 'Dogs against the Heat and posted one shot on goal and scored on his shootout attempt last night.
The Bulldogs' next game is against the Toronto Marlies at Copps Coliseum on Saturday, January 19th at 7:00 p.m. All 'Dogs games will be broadcast on Hamilton's Funny 820 (AM 820).
