
Griffins Ramp up Promotions for Three Games in Four Nights

Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013 vs. Oklahoma City Barons
Amway Winning Wednesday
Time : 7 p.m. at Van Andel Arena (doors open at 6 p.m.)
Amway Winning Wednesday : When the Griffins win on Amway Winning Wednesday, so do you! If the Griffins beat the Oklahoma City Barons, every fan in attendance may redeem their ticket stub for a free ticket to the Griffins game on Wednesday, Feb. 6 versus Houston. The box office will be open following the game for redemptions if the Griffins win. Additionally, the first 300 fans to visit the Amway table in Section A will receive a gift.
More Winning Wednesday : In addition to the usual Amway Winning Wednesday promotions, Amway will provide giveaways for this Wednesday's game. The first 1,000 fans through the turnstiles will receive Thundersticks, and the first 450 to visit the Amway table in Section A will receive a t-shirt. Amway will also have a separate table on the concourse, where they will hold a drawing for authentic Griffins jerseys, a Detroit Red Wings practice jersey and signed hockey puck, as well as a package that includes four tickets and four meal vouchers to a future Griffins game.
Redemption Wednesday : All fans who were in attendance for the Griffins' 4-2 win over the Rochester Americans on Dec. 7 can redeem their ticket stub for a free ticket to this game. Tickets can be redeemed at The Zone during business hours (M-F 10-6; Sat. 10-2) and at the box office the night of Dec. 19.
Wednesday is Hockey Night : For every Wednesday home game through March, show your Griffins ticket at 17 Arena District restaurants and bars -- including Peppino's Sports Grille, home of the Griffins' Wednesday post-game parties with the players -- to enjoy Happy Hour specials before the game and Hockey Night specials afterward. Buy-One, Get-One Pepsi : Every Wednesday, fans can enjoy a buy-one, get-one-free deal on a 16 oz. Pepsi all game long at any concession stand that sells fountain drinks.
Library Night : Fans who present their Grand Rapids Public Library card or Kent District Library card at the Van Andel Arena box office on the day of the game or at The Zone anytime during the store's regular business hours to save $7 off the price of a Lower Level Faceoff ticket (regularly $18 in advance and $20 day of game). Limit four tickets per card per person, subject to availability.

College Night Presented by H&R Block
Time : 7 p.m. at Van Andel Arena (doors open at 6 p.m.)
Dollar Beers and Hot Dogs : Enjoy $1 hot dogs and $1 domestic drafts from 6-8 p.m., while supplies last.
College Night : Presented by H&R Block, college students can show their ID to purchase an upper bowl ticket for $13 (or $11 in advance at The Zone) and stop by the McFadden's concourse table to receive a free pass to the post-game party at McFadden's.
"Ë80s Night : Relive the 1980s throughout the night with the Griffins. Fans are encouraged to dress in their best "Ë80s attire, as in-game music, contests and videos from the decade will be featured all night long.
Free Ride Friday : Ride the Rapid to and from any Friday game and enjoy complimentary fare by showing your ticket to the game. Visit ridetherapid.org for schedule information, routes and maps.

Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013 vs. Houston Aeros

Garden Gnome Giveaway : Courtesy of Comerica Bank, the first 2,000 fans will be going home with a Griff garden gnome.
Jersey Auction : The Griffins will wear special red jerseys that will be signed by the respective player and auctioned off in the Fifth Third Bank Vault following the game to benefit the Griffins Youth Foundation.
Sasha Performance : During the second intermission, fans will be treated to a performance by Sasha, who will showcase her acrobatic abilities and her archery talents.
Post-Game Skate : Bring your skates to the rink and take to the ice after the game, presented by J&H Family Stores.
Popcorn Pack : Enjoy $16 in total ticket savings and unlimited popcorn refills when you purchase four or more Griffins tickets with the Saturday Night Popcorn Pack. The package is valid for games on Jan. 26; Feb. 23; March 9 and April 13. Visit griffinshockey.com/popcorn for more information.

Advance ticket prices are $14, $16 and $18 in the arena's upper level, and $18, $22, $26 and $32 in the lower level. (Additional $2 per ticket on day of game.) On game night, tickets may be purchased without a convenience charge at the Van Andel Arena box office, beginning 90 minutes before game time. Fans who attend multiple games can avoid charges and receive a discount from the single-game price by purchasing a 10- or 20-game partial season package.
Season-Long Offers
Military Nights : Every home game this season, current members of our military can purchase up to four upper bowl tickets for $13 each (or $11 in advance at The Zone) with a valid military ID. The offer also extends to veterans who present a VA ID or discharge papers.
The Vault Restaurant and Bar : Enjoy food and drink specials in the Fifth Third Bank Vault prior to every Griffins home game. The full-service restaurant and bar is located inside Van Andel Arena, offers happy hour from 5-6 p.m. and is open for the duration of the game. Call (616) 742-6453 for reservations.
MOS Corner Office : Presented by Michigan Office Solutions, this section, located on the terrace level above section 118, provides the best seats in the house for groups of up to 30 people, with La-Z-Boy chairs and an array of unprecedented amenities. Call (616) 774-4585.
