Bulldogs Make More Transactions

The Edmonton Oilers have recalled defenceman Marc-Andre Bergeron from the AHL's Hamilton Bulldogs and have assigned forward Jani Rita to the Bulldogs.

Bergeron, a 22 year-old native of St-Louis-de-France, Quebec, has played in all 65 games for the Bulldogs this season and is the team's leading scorer among defenceman with 37 points (7g-30a-37pts). The 5'10, 190 pound defenceman also leads the AHL in plus/minus with a +34 rating.

Rita, a 6'1, 206 pound forward returns to the Bulldogs, where he has scored 42 points (18g-24a-42pts) in 50 games this season. The Helsinki, Finland native has also played in 12 games for the Oilers, where he contributed 4 points (3g-1a-4pts)
