
Bulldogs Continue Homestand

Hamilton Bulldogs News Release
The Hamilton Bulldogs will play three home games this week at Copps Coliseum starting with a rematch against the Heat on Tuesday, November 1st at 7:30 P.M. They will then battle the Houston Aeros (AHL Affiliate of the Minnesota Wild) on Friday, November 4th at 7:30 P.M. and will face the Lake Erie Monsters (AHL Affiliate of the Colorado Avalanche) on Saturday, November 5th at 7:00 P.M.
For Tuesday's game against the Heat and at all Tuesday night 'Dogs home games, fans can purchase an "All You Can Eat" tickets for only $30.00 ($15.00 for season ticket holders). Included with an "All You Can Eat" ticket is admission to the game and unlimited chips, hot dogs, peanuts, pizza, popcorn, pretzels and soft drinks (pop and water). Fans can purchase "All You Can Eat" tickets at the Copps Coliseum Box Office, online at www.ticketmaster.ca, at the Bulldogs Office at 101 York Boulevard in Hamilton or by calling 905-529-8500 or 1-888-DOGS-TIX (1-888-364-7849).
For Friday's game against the Aeros and at all Friday night Hamilton Bulldogs home games at Copps Coliseum, fans can purchase draft beer for only $3.00 between 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Fans must be of legal drinking age and are asked to drink responsibly.
At all Sunday afternoon home games, fans can also purchase a "Pizza Pizza Family Pack", which includes four tickets to the game and a $20.00 food and beverage voucher for only $60.00! "Pizza Pizza Family Packs" are available at the Copps Coliseum Box Office, the Bulldogs Office at 101 York Boulevard in Hamilton or by calling 905-529-8500 or 1-888-DOGS-TIX (1-888-364-7849).

The Bulldogs battled the Americans on Thursday, October 27th and won the game 3-2 in overtime. Louis Leblanc, who was playing in his first professional game, scored the game-winning goal in overtime and added two assists and had a +2 rating while taking 5 shots and being named first star. Andreas Engqvist played in his frst game for Hamilton this season after being assigned by the Montreal Canadiens and recorded a goal and two assists. Garrett Stafford, who was recently acquired by Montreal in a trade with the Phoenix Coyotes, recorded his first point as a 'Dog in his first game.

Hamilton then travelled to Albany, New York on Saturday, October 29th where they were defeated by the Devils 3-2. Darcy Zajac, Mike Sislo and Joe Whitney tallied goals for Albany while Olivier Fortier scored his first goal of the season and Garrett Stafford responded with his first goal as a Bulldog.

The 'Dogs returned home to Copps Coliseum on Sunday October 30th and were burned by the Heat by a score of 6-2. Dustin Sylvester scored two goals for Abbotsford including the game-winner while Krys Kolanos and Ben Walter both replied with a goal and two assists.
BULLDOGS NOTES:
- D Garrett Stafford has recorded one goal and one assist in his three games as a 'Dog since being acquired by the Canadiens in a trade with the Phoenix Coyotes.
- C Louis Leblanc recorded his first goal as a Bulldog which was the game-winning goal as well as two assists in his first professional game in Thursday's 3-2 overtime win over the Americans. He now has four points (1 goal, 3 assists) in three games.
- C Andreas Engqvist scored his first goal and recorded three points in his 'Dogs debut this season against Rochester after being assigned from Montreal. He now has four points (2 goals, 2 assists) in four games.
- C Philip DeSimone currently leads the Bulldogs in goal scoring with three as well as being tied for Hamilton rookies in scoring with four points.
- The 'Dogs are currently ranked fifth in the AHL on the power play with a 26.7% success rate.
- The Bulldogs have successfully killed 86.6% of their penalties and currently sit fifth in the league in penalty killing.

- Toronto C Mikhail Grabovski scored a goal and an assist against the Pittsburgh Penguins (Oct. 29) and recorded two assists vs. the Ottawa Senators (Oct. 30).
- St. Louis C Mike Ribeiro collected two assists last week. The first came against the Phoenix Coyotes (Oct. 25) and the other was against the Lost Angeles Kings (Oct. 27).
- Nashville F Sergei Kostitsyn tallied a goal and an assist against the Tampa Bay Lightning (Oct. 27).
- Montreal W Andrei Kostitsyn scored a goal against the Philadelphia Flyers (Oct. 26) while recording an assist against the Boston Bruins (Oct. 29).
- Montreal C Tomas Plekanec collected an assist vs. the Philadelphia Flyers (Oct. 26), scored a goal vs. the Boston Bruins (Oct. 27) while also scoring a goal and getting an assist against the Bruins (Oct. 29).
- Montreal W Max Pacioretty scored two goals and added an assist against the Philadelphia Flyers (Oct. 26).
