Crunch Announce Roster Moves

Syracuse, NY (October 31, 2001) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the Anaheim Ducks have recalled center Nick Bonino and assigned left wing J.F. Jacques. Additionally, the Crunch have released defenseman Brian O'Hanley from his professional tryout contract.

Bonino, 23, has appeared in nine games for the Crunch this season recording 11 points (2g, 9a). He is tied for fourth as a league leader in assists with nine. Bonino has played 35 career NHL games with Anaheim recording two points (1g, 1a). Bonino was originally drafted in the sixth round, 173 overall, by the San Jose Sharks.

Jacques, 26, has appeared in six games for Syracuse this season, recording five points (3g, 3a) and two penalty minutes. He appeared in three preseason contests with Anaheim before originally being assigned to Syracuse on September 29. Selected by the Edmonton Oilers in the second round, 68th overall, in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft, he was acquired by the Ducks as a free agent on July 6, 2011.

O'Hanley, 26, has appeared in two games with the Crunch and has recorded three assists. O' Hanley has played in 19 AHL games with Rochester and Portland, combining for three points (1g, 2a). He played 112 games in four years for Boston College, recording 25 points (6g, 19a) and 44 PIM. The San Jose Sharks originally selected O'Hanley in the ninth round, 267th overall, in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.
