Hutton Sent Back to Toledo

Rockford, Ill.- Chicago Blackhawks General Manager of Minor League Affiliations Mark Bernard announced on Monday that the American Hockey League's Rockford IceHogs have returned goalie Carter Hutton on loan to the ECHL's Toledo Walleye.

Hutton, 25, made his IceHogs debut on Saturday against Peoria and made eight saves in 18 minutes of playing time in relief of Alec Richards. The Thunder Bay, Ont. native has also made one appearance with the Walleye this season and is 0-1-0.

The second-year backstop appeared in 22 games with the Worcester Sharks (AHL) a season ago and compiled a record of 11-7-2 with a .902 save percentage and a 3.01 goals against average.

Next Home Game: Sunday, Nov. 6 vs. Charlotte Checkers: The puck drops at 5:05 p.m. After a seven-day layoff, the IceHogs return to the ice to take on the Checkers for the first time ever when they meet at the BMO ‚¬Ë†Harris Bank Center. The game is the first of eight on the season between the two clubs. The first 1,000 kids 14-and-under will receive an IceHogs puck courtesy of Vienna Beef. Also, don't forget your skates as Sunday is this season's first Skate With the IceHogs following the game.
