TODAY'S GAME: Tonight, the Bisons take on the Braves in game five of a six-game in four-day series from The Diamond (7:00 p.m.). The Herd is trailing 1-3 in the set so far. On the hill tonight will be RHP Sean Smith, who is looking to bounce back from back-to-back losses. Richmond will counter with RHP Kevin Barry.

LEADERS OF THE NORTH: The Bisons increased their lead in the IL North Division yesterday. It now stands at 1.5 games over the second place Rochester Red Wings. The Herd has held sole possession of the top spot since May 5.

WHAT A WEEK!: Today, Andy Marte was named the IL Batter of the Week (6/4-10). In his last eight games, he has a .462 (12-26) average with three doubles, four home runs, 11RBI and a 1.038 slugging percentage. He hit safely in each game and also chipped in five walks and five runs scored.

ON THE CHARTS: Ben Francisco and Ryan Mulhern are 3rd and 4th respectively on the IL batting charts. Francisco has a .332 average with Mulhern's .325 average right behind him. As a team, the Bisons .273 batting average is 2nd in the league.

NO SPEED LIMITS: Ben Francisco stole his team-high 14th base yesterday. That ties him for 5th in the league. As a team, the Bisons are tied for 2nd in the league with 65 stolen bases as a team (69% success rate).

ROAD WARRIORS: The Bisons are 2nd in the International League with 19 road wins. Their .594 winning percentage away from Dunn Tire Park is 3rd in the IL.

ROSTER MOVES: The Bisons activated catcher Mike Rose from the disabled list and received outfielder Jonathan Van Every from a promotion from Double-A Akron yesterday. Rose was hitting .264 with one home run and 16RBI before he was disabled on May 19 with a hamstring injury. Van Every hit .344 with four home runs and 34RBI in 44 games with the Aeros.
