LOUISVILLE, KY- A big seventh inning helped Louisville overcome an early deficit and defeat Rochester in front of 8,999 at Louisville Slugger Field on Monday Night. With the win, the Bats improved to 25-4 on the season when leading after seven innings.

The Bats batted around in the seventh, scoring six runs on five hits. Jeff Keppinger led off the inning with a double and later scored on a Pedro Lopez single. Even after Louisville stopped hitting they continued scoring. Julio Depaula walked three straight batters, forcing in a run on the third walk.

Bobby Livingston (1-4, 4.68) earned his first win this season, pitching seven innings while giving up four runs on 10 hits. Eddie Guardado joined Louisville today on Major League rehab assignment and pitched a scoreless eighth inning. Guardado, who had a 1.29 ERA and eight saves for Cincinnati last season, is recovering from Tommy John surgery.

Ricky Barrett (1-1, 3.66) took the loss in relief. Barrett recorded only one out in giving up four runs on four hits. Alexi Casilla was 3-for-4 with two runs scored on the night for Rochester. The Red Wings belted out six doubles on the night.

Keppinger was 3-for-4 on the night with a run and two RBI for the Bats. Keppinger, who led the team entering the game with a .426 on base percentage, reached base for the 21st straight game.

The Bats close an eight game home stand tomorrow against the Red Wings. RHP Elizardo Ramirez (NR) takes the mound for Louisville against Rochester's RHP Jeremy Cummings (3-4, 4.47). First pitch is scheduled for 7:05.
