LAREDO, TX- The Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League return home to host the Missouri Mavericks Saturday night at Laredo Energy Arena Game time is 7:30pm.

Both Laredo and Rio Grande Valley lost Friday night keeping the Bucks two points behind Rio Grande Valley for the final playoff spot in the Berry Conference with two games remaining. A Bees win or a Bucks regulation loss Saturday eliminates the Bucks, and if both the Bucks and Bees lose in overtime or a shootout Laredo is also eliminated. The Bees play their final regular season game Saturday against Texas.

The Bucks gave up three third-period goals to fall to Texas 4-3 Friday night as they finished their four-game road trip 0-4. Laredo lost all three games at Texas this season after having the lead in the third period in each contest.

Laredo hosts Missouri for the second time in two weeks Saturday night. The Bucks picked up their first-ever win against the Mavericks on March 11th with a 4-2 win at the LEA.

Missouri sits in fourth place in the Turner Conference after demolishing Rio Grande Valley 10-5 Friday night.

BIKER NIGHT, GIVE BLOOD, PLAY HOCKEY MARCH 26th

On Saturday March 26th the Bucks host Missouri on Biker Night and will host their semi-annual Give Blood Play Hockey Blood drive at Laredo Energy Arena.

The Bucks will wear special biker jerseys that will be auctioned off after the game.

The Give Blood, Play Hockey blood drive is from 10am-6pm in the LEA concourse with everyone who donates blood receiving FREE BUCKS TICKETS and other great gifts. Call 718-BUCK for info.

The Bucks will also hold their first-ever Biker Poker Run that day with registration starting at 2:30pm at Harley Davidson. Bikers who participate in the poker run will get TWO tickets to the game, receive beer specials that night and are registered to win great prizes. PUCKS & PAWS DAY MARCH 27th

On Sunday March 27th the Bucks host Texas in the regular season finale at Laredo Energy Arena with a special start time of 4pm. The Bucks will host their first-ever Pucks and Paws day, where fans can bring their dog to the game for only $10 per dog.

The dog must be 25 pounds or less. $5 out of the $10 will go directly to the Laredo Animal Shelter. There will be special activities for the dogs that day, including a Dog Photo Booth, "Category Dog Contests" such as owner/dog look-a-like, a dog obstacle course, and City of Laredo/Animal Control tutorials. Each person bringing a dog, must register their dog before entering the arena. Call 718-BUCK (2825) for tickets.

BUCKS TO GIVEAWAY ATV ON MARCH 27th

The Bucks will give away a one-of-a-kind Laredo Bucks ATV during the regular season finale on March 27th at Laredo Energy Arena. The first 500 people ages 18 and over to enter the LEA will receive one FREE chance to win the ATV. Everyone will be able to purchase more chances to win the ATV at the Booster Club table in the concourse. The drawing will be held during the second intermission. Call 718-BUCK (2825) for tickets.
