Bryce Harper, Fireworks, Dogs at Homestand

LAKEWOOD, NJ - The BlueClaws will be back at FirstEnergy Park for a brief but exciting four-game homestand against the Hagerstown Suns (Washington Nationals) beginning Friday night.
The homestand is scheduled to include Bryce Harper, the top overall pick in the 2010 baseball draft, who has been with the Suns all year. Harper, through games of Sunday, May 8th, is batting .371 with seven home runs and 24 RBIs.
Harper, considered by many to be the top prospect in all of baseball, could be making his only visit to FirstEnergy Park.
Friday marks the second post-game fireworks show of 2011, after the 7:05 game thanks to Toyota/Scion World of Lakewood. Upcoming fireworks shows include May 27th, 28th and 29th on Memorial Day weekend.
Saturday is the annual Bark in the Park festival, thanks to 95.9 WRAT and Magic 100.1. Fans can bring their dogs to the game for a festival in front of the park that begins at 12 pm and includes contests, tricks, games, and more. Then, dogs can come inside for a parade on the field at 3 pm and the game, which starts at 4:05.
BlueClaws players and coaches will be wearing special BluePaws jerseys which will be auctioned off live after the game.
Sunday is Brick Day, when we celebrate the town of Brick at 1:05. Kids Eat Free thanks to ShopRite and it's a Kids Character Sunday thanks to Monmouth Park. Also, all Kids Club members will receive a free general admission ticket to this, and every Sunday game.
The homestand wraps up on Monday when Kids Eat Free thanks to ShopRite and the BlueClaws welcome guests of the Ocean County YMCA.
