
Brooks Named Conference All-Star

Regina, Saskatchewan - Regina Pats forward Adam Brooks has been named an Eastern Conference First Team All-Star. The Western Hockey League released the 2015-16 award nominees and members of the conference all-star teams Wednesday, March 23 ahead of the 2016 Playoffs opening Thursday, March 24.
In his fourth season with the Pats, Brooks lead the WHL in scoring with 120 points (38G, 82A) in 72 games. His 82 assists were tied for the league lead. Along the way, Brooks was named the WHL Player of the Week twice and CHL Player of the Week once. The Winnipeg, MB product was the first Pats player to lead the league in scoring since Dale Derkatch in the 1982-83 season. His 120 points were the most in the WHL since the 2012-13 season and most by a Pats player since the 1992-93 season (Louis Dumont - 121 points).
Brooks was recognized with four Pats awards including the Player of the Year, Bill Hicke Most Popular Player, Torchey Schell Top Scorer Award and Three Star Award.
The Pats begin their playoff run against the Lethbridge Hurricanes in Lethbridge on March 25 at 7 p.m. Games Three and Four will be held at the Brandt Centre March 29 and 30, both at 7 p.m. Individual tickets are available at reginapats.com, the Brandt Centre Box Office, and Safeway locations throughout Regina.
