Medicine Hat Tigers News Release
Medicine Hat, AB -- Medicine Hat Tigers Captain Ty Stanton announced on Wednesday that he has signed an AHL contract with the Toronto Marlies organization for the 2016-17 season.
Stanton was in his final season in the WHL, playing his whole career with the orange and black. Stanton had 33 points this season and was named captain after the trade deadline.
Stanton will join the club on Friday for the remainder of the season. Stanton could see game action this year as the Marlies have already clinched a playoff spot and may sit their regulars before the post season.
