Broncos Draft Russian Defenseman in CHL Import Draft

SWIFT CURRENT SK - The Swift Current Broncos have drafted defenseman Artyom Minulin with the 29th pick in the 2015 CHL Import Draft.
Minulin, from Tyumen, Russia shoots left and is 6'2 189 pounds. Minulin will turn 17 this October.
In 13 games of International Jr play with the Russia U17 team, Minulin had 1 goal, 2 assists and 8 penalty minutes.
"He's a big, physical defenseman who can move the puck well" said Broncos coach and general manager Mark Lamb.
"He will be tough to play against" added Lamb.
Minulin is expected at Swift Current Bronco training camp this August.
