Broncos Donating $500 Scholarship to Great Plains College

SWIFT CURRENT SK - The Swift Current Broncos are donating a $500 scholarship to Great Plains College.
"We see Great Plains College as an extremely important partner for us. We are working at attracting their student base to our hockey games" said Dianne Sletten, Broncos assistant general manager/director of business operations.
"We've been building a stronger relationship by promoting each other's sporting events and this year we introduced College Night offering a ticket and coupon deal. Offering a $500 scholarship for next year is the next step in working together" added Sletten.
"Of course, we are thrilled with the donation and the opportunity to partner further with the Broncos," says Carrie Voysey, director of communications and student services at Great Plains College. "Our Entrance Scholarships continue to achieve great success and are helping the college become a first choice for students, which, in turn, is helping our community grow and become stronger."
Great Plains College will be presenting the Broncos game night on March 9th. The college will have a display in the lobby where people can learn about all the scholarships and programs available.
