
Broncos and Bruins Trade Forwards

Swift Current, SK--The Swift Current Broncos have acquired 18 year old forward Liam Darragh from the Chilliwack Bruins in exchange for 18 year old forward Matt Ius.
Assistant General Manager Elden Moberg says: "Liam adds size and strength and a physical element to our line-up up front, and at 18 he has the potential to be with us for the next couple of seasons."
Darragh, from Quesnel BC, has 2 goals and 4 assists for 6 points along with 60 penalty minutes in 39 games this season with the Bruins. Darragh is 6'4" and 200 pounds and is in his second full season in the WHL. He was listed by the Bruins in 2006 after playing with the Princeton Posse in the KIJHL (Junior B) in British Columbia.
Darragh is expected to meet the team in Regina today.
