Regina Pats News Release
Regina, Saskatchewan - There are still plenty of tickets available for tonight's huge Eastern Conference match-up with the Swift Current Broncos. It will also mark the return of a pair of gold medal winning players from the recent World Junior Hockey Championships in Ottawa.
Jordan Eberle scored one of the most dramatic goals in Canadian junior hockey history, tying the semi-final game against the Russians with 5.4 seconds left, and then proceeded to score the shoot-out winner.
Colten Teubert was a part of Canada's top defensive pairing that helped shut-down Sweden in the gold medal game this past Monday.
Jordan Weal (Pacific) and Dominick Favreau (West) will also be marking their return to the Pats line-up. They were participating in the World U-17 Hockey Challenge in Alberni, B.C.
Tonight will also mark the debut of the recently acquired Matt Robertson from the Prince Albert Raiders. He will be playing on the top line with Jordan Eberle and Jordan Weal.
Tickets are available at Ticketmaster by calling 543-7800, or visit the Brandt Centre box office. You can also get tickets by going to reginapats.com and click on the Ticketmaster icon.
The Regina Pats also re-assigned forward Andrew Reider to the Pat Canadians (SMAAAHL). In five games with the Pats, Reider has recorded an assist and collected 6 minutes in penalties.
