Broncos Acquire Fleming from Seattle

Swift Current, SK - Swift Current Bronco General Manager and Head Coach, Mark Lamb has announced that the club has acquired defenceman Erik Fleming from the Seattle Thunderbirds in exchange for future considerations in the 2012 WHL Bantam Draft.

Fleming has tallied one assist in one game played so far this season with the Thunderbirds. The 6'1", 206lbs. native of Calgary, AB recorded three assists in 50 games played last season. He was drafted by Seattle in the 1st round, 16th overall of the 2007 WHL Bantam Draft.

"He (Fleming) is a veteran defenceman with a lot of experience in the Western Hockey League", states Bronco General Manager and Head Coach, Mark Lamb. "He will bring a lot of value and depth to our team's young defence."
