Rome Emperors News Release
The Rome Braves announced that pitchers Jaye Chapman and Cory Gearrin have been sent to Myrtle Beach of the Carolina League. Rome receives right-handers Erik Cordier and Steven Figueroa. Cordier joins the Rome club from extended spring training in Orlando while Figueroa comes from Danville. Figueroa was with the Rome squad a week ago pitching well a earning a win on June 30th.
