Harrisburg, PA - The Harrisburg Senators are pleased to announce that RH Brad Peacock has been named the 2011 Eastern League Pitcher of the Year. Peacock is the second Senators' pitcher to earn the honor, and the first in 18 seasons. Joey Eischen won the award after the 1993 season.

His outstanding season has earned Peacock numerous awards. He won the Eastern League Pitcher of the Week award twice. In July, he pitched in the XM All-Star Futures Game, where he pitched one inning, allowing no hits, and struck out one. He was also chosen as an Eastern League midseason and postseason All-Star.
