Albuquerque Isotopes News Release
Due to increased demand for tickets for the Albuquerque Isotopes' four-game series with the Nashville Sounds, the Isotopes will be opening their box office at 8:00 AM beginning tomorrow June 20 and continuing through Tuesday, June 24 for the added convenience of the team's fans.
Fans began lining up today outside the âTopes' box office a half hour before opening in response to speculation of a possible rehabilitation appearance by Dodgers outfielder Manny Ramirez. While there is still as yet no guarantee that Ramirez will appear at Isotopes Park next week, the team is extending its box office hours to better accommodate the additional ticket requests.
Albuquerque continues its eight-game homestand tonight against the Omaha Royals, Triple-A affiliate of the Kansas City Royals, with an appearance by Myron Noodleman, his only visit to Isotopes Park all season. Saturday will feature a mini-bat giveaway before a very special Father's Day Sunday celebration that included a pre-game father/child catch on the field, a free BBQ apron to the first 3,000 dads, and a powder blue jersey auction with proceeds benefiting prostate cancer research. Tickets for any Isotopes game may be purchased at the Isotopes Park Box Office, at Ticketmaster outlets, by phone at 1-800-745-3000, or on-line at www.albuquerquebaseball.com or www.ticketmaster.com.
