Omaha Storm Chasers News Release

OMAHA, NE - Big Daddy Weave will be performing live in concert at the Omaha Royals annual Faith and Family Night on Saturday, August 8th at Rosenblatt Stadium. The concert - presented by Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, Cox Communications and KGBI 100.7 FM - will cap off a night of entertainment that begins with the Royals hosting the Las Vegas 51s at 7:05 p.m. and also includes post-game fireworks.

Big Daddy Weave entered the studio in 2008 for the fifth time in their decade-long career and created their latest album, What Life Would Be Like. The album is the Christian Rock group's first since the 2006 release of their highly acclaimed, Every Time I Breathe.

In 2002 the band earned a Dove Award nomination as "New Artist of the Year." Their song "In Christ" appeared on R&R's AC Chart for 24 weeks, peaking at #2, becoming the highest-charting AC single for a new artist in 2002. Big Daddy Weave was also honored two years in a row at ASCAP's 2003 and 2004 Christian Music Awards.

Tickets for the game, fireworks and concert remain the same price as tickets for most of the Royals regular season home games: $10 for Field Box seats, $8 for Reserved seats and $7 for General Admission. Groups of 10 or more receive a $2 discount on Reserved seat tickets purchased in advance.

"We have enjoyed the opportunity to work with a large number of churches in the metro area and are looking forward to another great Faith and Family Night this year," said Dave Endress, Royals Director of Ticketing. "We are excited Big Daddy Weave will be here to share their heartfelt music ministry with our fans."

For tickets, call the Royals ticket office at (402) 738-5100, or order and print tickets online at www.oroyals.com and at www.Etix.com.
