Wichita, KS- The Central Hockey League announced Thursday that Wichita Thunder forward Alex Bourret has been selected as a reserve to the 2012 CHL All-Star team.
The Drummondville, PQ native has been tremendous this season for the Thunder. Bourret is currently riding a nine-game point streak and a four-game goal scoring streak. During the month of December, he has scored 22 points (9g, 13a22) in 12 games including a four-point performance on December 18th against Texas. Bourret has scored in every game this month except one and sits in second place in scoring behind Rapid City's Jesse Schultz with 38 points.
