Bouchard Traded to Blackhawks

UNIONDALE, N.Y. (Feb. 6, 2014) - The New York Islanders announced today the acquisition of the Chicago Blackhawks' fourth round selection in the 2014 National Hockey League Draft, in exchange for forwards Pierre-Marc Bouchard and Peter Regin.

Bouchard, 29, scored nine points (four goals, five assists) in 28 games with the Islanders this season. The Sherbrooke, QC, native added 17 points (six goals, 11 assists) in 20 games with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers of the American Hockey League since he was loaned on December 10, 2013.
