ST. PAUL, MN (June 28, 2011) - The St. Paul Saints got tons of productions from the bottom of their order and came from behind to defeat the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks 10-7 on Tuesday night at Midway Stadium in front of 5,552.

With the Saints and RedHawks tied at two in the sixth the scoring began and came in waves. The RedHawks struck for three runs in the top of the inning and it started with back-to-back doubles from Jason James and Phil Britton to give the RedHawks a 3-2 lead. Britton moved to third on a wild pitch and with one out Zach Penprase hit a little tapper back towards the mound. Britton raced from third attempting to score and Saints pitcher Matt Long couldn't field the ball cleanly allowing Britton to score on the error making it 4-2. Three batters later Jesse Hoorelbeke doubled down the left field line scoring Penprase to make it 5-2.

The Saints wasted little time in taking their first lead of the night in the bottom of the inning. With Brandon Tripp at first and one out Richard Mercado walked to put runners at first and second. Ronnie Bourquin then hit a grounder to first, but Hoorelbeke' throw to second pulled Penprase off the bag and the Saints had the bases loaded. Jake Krause and Jonathan Van Every added back-to-back RBI singles to cut the deficit to 5-4. Adam Frost then singled to right scoring two and giving the Saints a 7-6 lead.

In the seventh reliever Casey Hoorelbeke walked back-to-back hitters and Van Every drilled a two-run homer to right, his ninth of the season, to give the Saints a 9-5 cushion, one they wouldn't relinquish.

The bottom five guys in the order scored all 10 of the Saints runs and had eight of the 10 RBI.

The same two teams meet Wednesday afternoon at 1:05 p.m. The Saints send LHP Donald Brandt (3-2, 3.88) to the mound against RedHawks LHP Joe Harris (0-0, 9.00). It is "When the Sun Comes Out: A Tribute to Ella Fitzgerald" presented by Sun Drop Citrus Cola. The game can be heard live on saintsbaseball.com courtesy of the Minnesota Sports Broadcast Network and can be heard on tape delay on Relevant Radio 1330 at 6:00 p.m.
