Green Bay Rockers News Release

ASHWAUBENON, Wis. - The Green Bay Booyah will head to Kokomo, Indiana as they begin a two-game set with the Jackrabbits.

On Friday night, the Booyah began a three-game road trip in Fond du Lac, but it didn't start the way Manager Tristan Toorie envisioned. After grabbing a 1-0 lead after a half inning, the Dock Spiders scored 11 unanswered runs. The Booyah were able to put together five runs in the final three innings, but the early hole was too deep to dig out of. The Booyah fell, 12-6, snapping their three-game winning streak.

Elias Flowers (Jacksonville) and Brendan Ryan (Texas A&M-Corpus Christi) collected two hits each in the loss on Friday.

With Green Bay looking ahead to their series against the Jackrabbits, they will give the ball to Logan Lee (Northwood) on Saturday evening. The Michigan native has made two starts this season with Green Bay and is 2-0. He has tossed 13 innings, allowing eight hits, six runs, five earned runs, four walks and eight strikeouts.

The Jackrabbits will give the ball to Connor Linchey. In three appearances, he has pitched 14 innings, allowing 10 hits, two runs, eight walks and has punched out 16.

The Booyah swept the Jackrabbits in a series earlier this week. Green Bay enters tonight's ballgame one game under .500.
