FOND DU LAC, Wis. - An early deficit was too much for the Green Bay Booyah on Friday night as they fell at the hands of the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders, 12-6.

The Booyah were able to draw first blood as an RBI double to right field by Jake Berg (Jacksonville) scored Tristin Garcia (Alcorn State) in the top of the first. The Dock Spiders were able to answer back in the bottom half of the inning and never looked back.

In the seventh, Elias Flowers (Jacksonville) reached on an error by the shortstop that scored Tyler Hollow (Dixie State). The following at-bat, Garcia reached on a fielder's choice that scored Brendan Ryan (Texas A&M-Corpus Christi).

In the ninth, Flowers picked up another RBI as his single to center field scored Ryan. Again, in the following at-bat, Garcia was able to lace a two-run double to right field that scored Nadir Lewis (Princeton) and Flowers.

Jacob Riordan (Georgia State) pitched well out of the bullpen. In four innings in relief, he gave up four hits, two runs, both unearned while walking one and punching out two. Boston Mabeus (BYU) pitched two innings and did not allow a hit.

With this series ending in a split, the Booyah will begin a weekend getaway in Kokomo, Indiana as they will take on the Jackrabbits. The Booyah swept the Jackrabbits earlier this week.
