BATTLE CREEK, MI- Turner Gill reached on a fielders choice to plate Chris McCoy with the winning run in the 11th, as the Battle Creek Bombers defeated the Green Bay Bullfrogs 2-1 in the second consecutive extra inning game between the teams at C.O. Brown Stadium. Both teams are now 3-4 after they split the two-game series. Battle Creek ends its five-game home stand 3-2.

Joe Battistelli was superb on the mound for the Bombers, tossing six shutout innings and striking out five. The bullpen continued to dominate for Battle Creek. After taking a hard luck loss last night, Brian Heldman responded by pitching two shutout innings to pick up the win.

The Bombers now travel to face the Lakeshore Chinooks for a three-game set at brand new Kapco Park in Mequon, WI before returning home for four more games. First pitch Wednesday night is at 7:35 ET.
