Bogosian and Everson Added for Final Weekend

Peoria Rivermen General Manager Kevin McDonald announced today that the club has signed forwards Aaron Bogosian and Marshall Everson tryout contracts. Bogosian joins the team from ECHL Toledo while Everson recently completed his senior season at Harvard University.

Bogosian, 26, was a member of the Toledo Walleye team that was eliminated from the first round of the ECHL playoffs on Tuesday. He began the season with the Florida Everblades and recorded 26 points (11 goals, 15 assists) in 55 games before being traded to Toledo on March 7. In the final 11 games with the Walleye, the 6'0", 190-pound forward had two goals and three assists. He added three more assists in six playoff games.

Last year he spent his first full professional season with the Springfield Falcons of the AHL. In 51 games he registered two goals and two assists with 88 penalty minutes. Prior to joining Springfield, Bogosian played four years at St. Lawrence University. Aaron is the older brother of current NHL defenseman, Zach, of the Winnipeg Jets.

Everson, 22, collected 16 points (11 goals, five assists) in 32 games for the Crimson in his fourth season. Overall he finished his collegiate career with 64 points (31 goals, 33 assists) in 119 games. A native of Edina, Minn., Everson scored 100 career goals while playing at Edina High School. Everson was signed to an amateur tryout contract by the Milwaukee Admirals on April 5 but was released two days later without appearing in a game.
