ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. – The Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies of the East Coast Hockey League signed forward Kevin Colley, it was announced today by Bullies Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Michael Haviland. Colley returns to Atlantic City for his second stint with the team.

The 23-year old played 41 games with the Bullies last season, registering 53 points on 23 goals and 30 assists, while racking up 90 penalty minutes.

The Collingwood, Ont., native earned two American Hockey League call-ups last year. In four games with the Providence Bruins, Colley tallied one goal and 27 penalty minutes. Colley's consistent productive play with the Bullies made a lasting impression with the Rochester Americans, however. Colley played 25 games with the Amerks, finishing the regular season with the AHL club. He netted three goals and added four assists for seven points and 70 penalty minutes.

The 5-10, 175-pound center earned a spot on the 2002 Sovereign Bank/ECHL Northern Conference All-Star Team representing the Bullies. Colley tallied a goal in his All-Star debut.

"We're thrilled to have a player of Kevin's caliber on our team," commented Haviland. "He was a significant contributor to the Bullies' success last year and earned his way to the AHL.

"Kevin adds another element to our lineup – he's a great two-way player who offers grit and exceptional offensive prowess.

"We're certain that Kevin's play will spark interest among AHL teams, but we'll take full advantage of the time he spends playing with the Bullies this season."

The 2002 Kelly Cup Playoffs Northeast Division Champion Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies play at Boardwalk Hall.
