LAKEWOOD, NJ - In a tie ball game going into the bottom of the third the game between the Lakewood BlueClaws and the Delmarva Shorebirds has been suspended due to rain. The game will be resumed on Saturday at 6:05 pm with a seven-inning game to follow.
Both starters Jesus Sanchez and Nathan Moreau had been throwing shutouts so far and will not continue in the completion of the game.
The BlueClaws (0-1) and Shorebirds (1-0) will resume play on Saturday at 6:05 pm and then play a seven-inning game with Heitor Correa (4-2) and lefty Cole McCurry (3-5) being the game two starters.
The tickets to the game can be exchanged in person at the BlueClaws Box Office for any BlueClaws game the rest of the season, however, there are two fireworks days remaining within this homestand. On Thursday and Friday of next week, July 2nd and 3rd there will also be post-game fireworks presented by Toyota/Scion World of Lakewood. The tickets to the June 26th game must be presented.
