Blazers Offer Jerseys off Their Backs on Fan Appreciation Night

Kamloops, BC - The Kamloops Blazers will be auctioning off specially made jerseys that the hockey club will wear for Fan Appreciation Night on Friday, March 18th. The jerseys celebrate the partnership between the Blazers, the City of Kamloops, and Hockey Canada in conjunction with the IIHF 2016 Women's World Hockey Championship.

The jerseys will be auctioned starting on Saturday, February 27th by blind ballot auction. The minimum bid will be $100, and the bidding will close at the end of the 1st intermission on March 18th.

Bids can be placed during Blazers home games on February 27th and 28th, and March 2nd, 4th, 12th, and 18th, and during the Women's World Hockey Championship ticket pick up this weekend.

Fans are also able to bid via email at office@blazerhockey.com. Proceeds from the auction will go to the Kamloops Blazers Scholarship & Education Fund.

The auction winners will be announced during the game on Friday, March 18th against the Prince George Cougars. A minimum of 20 game-worn jerseys will be presented to the top bidders during a post game on-ice presentation. Blazer players will present their jersey to the winner, and each winner will have the opportunity to get their jersey signed and have a photo taken with the player.

Winners must be in attendance on March 18th to have their jerseys presented to them by the player. Winners not in attendance will be able to pick up their jersey at the Kamloops Blazers office from 9:00am - 5:00pm Monday to Friday. Payment must be made in full in order to receive the jersey.
