Medicine Hat Tigers News Release

Medicine Hat, AB - The Tigers and ATB Financial are proud to announce the fourth annual Lids for Kids Night on Tuesday March 1st as the Tigers take on division rival, the Kootenay Ice!

ATB Financial has produced 150 exclusive Tigers hats that have each been signed by one current member of the team. The autographs are a surprise to fans when they purchase them because each hat will be uniquely covered to randomize the event.

The hats will be sold for $20 each with all the proceeds will go to the Big Brothers & Big Sisters of Medicine Hat and District. The event is a great opportunity to get a unique piece of Tigers memorabilia while helping out a great local charity.

The event has proven wildly successful bringing in over $8000 through the sales of over 400 hats during the previous three seasons.

"ATB Financial, a proud sponsor of the Medicine Hat Tigers is excited to once again partner with Big Brothers Big Sisters Medicine Hat to offer our Lids for Kids program. At ATB we are about creating unique experiences for our customers - this time around, we have produced hats that are all signed by the Tigers players. The proceeds of the hat sales will be donated in full to Big Brothers Big Sisters so they can continue their valuable work in the community."

Cal Nordlee, Branch Manager, ATB Financial

"This event is such a great success every year. Medicine Hat is very giving to their local charities and we're looking forward to another successful event on March 1st. We are very proud of the positive impact these events have on our community. ATB Financial has always been an amazing supporter of the Tigers and in addition to the Lids for Kids event this season, they will have put on their Skills Clinic and been a major supporter of the annual Skills Competition."
