KAMLOOPS, BC - The Kamloops Blazers have reassigned 16-year-old forward Brenden Dowd to the Saskatoon Midget "AAA" Blazers.

The Blazers have 26 players on their roster: 2 goaltenders (Dubnyk, Maniago), 8 defensemen (Bartley, Bender, Chapman, Ellerby, Macias, Olson, Tesliuk, Thiessen), and 16 forwards (Chorneyko, Connors, Delaronde, Dunstall, Gutierrez, Hayman, Irwin, Jorgensen, Kassian, Kauk, Mason, Nixon, Skrudland, Steinmann, Stretch, Versteeg).

Dubnyk remains at Edmonton Oiler camp and is expected to play in an NHL pre-season game Friday night against Calgary.

The Blazers open the regular season on Saturday night at Interior Savings Centre against the Everett Silvertips. Game time is 7:00.
