Blazers Acquire Wadsworth and Draft Picks for Van Olm

Kamloops, BC - The Kamloops Blazers have traded 2004-born forward Shea Van Olm to the Spokane Chiefs in exchange for 2006-born forward Cole Wadsworth, a 2025 third round pick and a 2026 second round pick (via Tri-City).

Wadsworth has suited up in 21 games with the Chiefs this season and has four goals, two assists and six points. In 71 career WHL games with Spokane, the Penticton, BC native has 11 points.

Van Olm was acquired by the Blazers in October 2022 for a sixth-round pick. In 89 games with the Blazers he had 17 goals, 31 assists and 48 points.

"We'd like to thank Shea for his time with the Blazers and wish him the best moving forward," commented General Manager / Head Coach, Shaun Clouston. "We'd also like to welcome Cole to our hockey club."

The Blazers are back on home ice on Friday, January 12th when they host the Everett Silvertips at 7:00pm.
