Blades make changes to roster

ESTERO, FL - Florida Everblades President and General Manager Craig Brush along with Head Coach Greg Poss announced today that the team has activated forward Mike Kennedy off the injured reserve list and has placed forward Evgeny Timkin on the IR.

Kennedy returns to the lineup after missing the last six games with an injury. The 24-year-old has played in 11 games this season with the Everblades collecting five points (1g, 4a) and is a plus-3. Kennedy's one goal was his first as a pro and came on October 22 at Greenville.

The native of Dorchester, Ontario is in his first year of professional hockey after completing a four-year collegiate career at Cornell University where he picked up 60 points (28g, 32a) in 130 career games.

Timkin heads to the IR for the second time this season having played in six games this season recording one assist. The 20-year-old native of Murmasnk, Russia is in his first professional season in North America after skating in the Russian KHL for the past two seasons.
