
Gladiators Blank Stingrays 2-0

Duluth, GA -Goaltender Chris Carrozzi recorded his first shutout of the season stopping all 20 Stingrays shots as the Gwinnett Gladiators (10-4-0-3) blanked the South Carolina Stingrays (7-8-1-0) 2-0 at The Arena at Gwinnett Center Tuesday night.
After a scoreless opening period, Gladiators forward Ian McKenzie tapped in a loose puck between the legs of Stingrays goaltender Todd Ford at 6:42 of the second frame to grab a 1-0 lead. Forward Dan Kissel and defenseman Cody Brookwell received assists.
Gladiators forward Aaron Bendickson put the contest out of reach at 3:33 with his third of the season from forwards Danick Paquette and Pat Galivan.
Ford suffered the loss stopping 28 of 30 Gladiators chances. The Stingrays ended the night 0-for-4 on the power play while Gwinnett finished 0-for-3.
The Stingrays return home to celebrate Thanksgiving against the Gladiators on Friday, November 26 at 7:05 p.m. at the North Charleston Coliseum.
