
BJ Johnson Signs 10-Day Contract with Atlanta Hawks

Lakeland Magic forward BJ Johnson has signed a 10-day contract with the Atlanta Hawks. The call-up is the first for the team this season.
Johnson (6'7", 200) has appeared in 38 games for Lakeland this season, recording averages of 14.9 points, 5.1 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.4 steals in 29.8 minutes per game. The 23-year-old also played in the 2018 Summer League with the Charlotte Hornets and signed an Exhibit 10 with the Orlando Magic on September 5, 2018.
Prior to beginning his professional career, Johnson spent two years at Syracuse before transferring to La Salle. In his senior year, Johnson averaged 20.8 ppg and 8.3 rpg.
