Bittner Returns from Portland

(Johnstown, Pa)-The Johnstown Chiefs announced today that forward J.B. Bittner has been returned to the club from the Portland Pirates, of the AHL.

Bittner was loaned to the Pirates on November 27, where he registered one assist in four games.

The Ohio State product, who grew up in Pittsburgh, is among the Chiefs leading scorers, and was among the league leaders in rookie scoring before his call-up. In 14 games with the Chiefs, Bittner has notched five goals and six assists.
