Dayton, OH - The Dayton Bombers of the ECHL on Friday traded defenseman Tyler Scott to the Pensacola Ice Pilots (ECHL) for forward Dominic Noel. The Bombers host the Long Beach Ice tonight Dogs at 7:00 PM.

Noel, 24, recorded one goal, one assist, two points and two penalty minutes in 10 games with the Ice Pilots this season. The rookie forward recorded 42 goals, 63 assists and 105 points in 67 games with Cape Breton (QMJHL) during the 2001-2002 season, before attending Dalhousie University.

Bombers head coach and general manager Don MacAdam said, "We needed to strengthen our third line, and Noel brings some skill to our line-up. I didn't necessarily want to move Tyler, but you have to give something to get something in this league."

Scott, 25, recorded two goals, two assists, four points and eight penalty minutes in 14 games with Dayton this season.

The Dayton Bombers, proud ‘AA' affiliate of the National Hockey League's Columbus Blue Jackets, are celebrating their 15th Anniversary this season. The Bombers return home Friday night to host the Long Beach Ice Dogs at 7:00 PM (WONE-AM 980). For tickets and information, call the Bombers' office at 937-775-4747 or visit daytonbombers.com.
