TODAY'S GAME: Tonight, the Buffalo Bisons take on the Indianapolis Indians in the opening game of a four-game series at Coca-Cola Field (7:05 p.m.). The Herd is coming off a 5-3 win last night to close out their series with Gwinnett. The series with Indy is the second in the Bisons modern-era record 16-game homestand. Buffalo will also host the Yankees and the Clippers to finish out the month.

vs. INDIANS: The Bisons have yet to face the Indians in 2012. The Herd dropped the season series with Indy in 2011 (2-6). A win tonight would put Buffalo at .500 against the Indians since their return to the IL in 1998 (55-56).

WE ARE FAMILIA: RHP JEURYS FAMILIA starts tonight for the fifth time this season at Coca-Cola Field. He is looking for his fifth win of the season and his third in as many starts. In the month of May, Familia is 2-0 with a 2.25ERA and 16 strikeouts in 16.0 innings of work.

MVP: OF VALENTINO PASCUCCI launched two home runs and drove in four in last night's win over Gwinnett. The slugger now has 48 home runs as a Bison. He took over sole possession of seventh place on the modern-era home-run list as he passed former Bisons OF ERNIE YOUNG in the process. Pascucci continues to lead the Herd in home runs and runs batted in (10HR, 31RBI).

HARVEY: RHP MATT HARVEY set a career-high for strikeouts in last night's victory with 11. The last time a Bisons starter fanned 11 was RHP DILLON GEE on August 28, 2010 in Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. The last Bisons pitcher to strike out 11 at home was RHP JASON BERE on May 7, 2003. Harvey now leads the team with 49 strikeouts

BISONS BITS: OF VINNY ROTTINO was unable to extend his season-long hit streak of 20 games. The stretch tied Toledo's Brad Eldred for the longest in the IL this season...RHP DYLAN OWEN picked up his first save as a Bison and his first overall since 2009 at St. Lucie (A). Owen hurled 3.0 innings of shutout baseball, allowing three hits and striking out two.
