Last night, the Bisons dropped the opening game of their five-game homestand by a score of 2-1. Following this series with the Braves, Buffalo will play a two-game set against Syracuse starting on Thursday.

The Bisons are just 1-7 in the last two years against Gwinnett, including a three-game sweep at home at the hands of the Braves in 2014. Buffalo has not won a season series against the Braves since 2012, when they went 6-2.

LHP RANDY WOLF will make his team-high 15th start of the season tonight. The southpaw surrendered six hits on June 23 in a 5-4 Bisons loss against Lehigh Valley. In 7.2 innings, Wolf allowed three runs (all earned), while walking three and striking out seven. He did not take a decision in the contest. Wolf is one of just seven qualifying IL starting pitchers to give up two or fewer home runs.
