Today's Game
The Buffalo Bisons take on the Indianapolis Indians in the third game of a four-game series from Victory Field (11:05 a.m.). After back-to-back losses to Indy, the Herd is now 3-3 on its current roadtrip. Buffalo returns home on Saturday for an eight-game homestand with the Charlotte Knights and the Indians.

The Bisons have not won a series at Victory Field since Marty Browns first tenure with the Herd in 2004. Since then, the I-Tribe has five series wins to go along with three splits. The 2004 (6-2) campaign was also the last time the Herd picked up a season series win over Indy.
Romero On the Bump
LHP RICKY ROMERO makes his second Bisons start today. The southpaw made his Herd debut on Saturday in Louisville and allowed six runs in 3.2 innings of a no-decision. Romero has won 51 big league games with Toronto since 2009, including a 15-11 record and a 2.92 ERA as an American League All-Star in 2011.
Homering Herd
The Bisons hit two more home runs yesterday and now have 14 home runs in the first six games of this roadtrip. Buffalo has 48 homers this season, six more than any other IL club. A total of 31 blasts have come in just 20 games on the road this season.
Rise And Shine
The Bisons are 2-0 this year in morning starts. Buffalo won 8-2 in Lehigh Valley on April 22 and then beat Rochester, 5-2, on April 30 in Rochester. Buffalo will host the IronPigs for their School Kids Day Game on Thursday, June 6.
Negrych
INF JIM NEGRYCH had his 15th multi-hit performance yesterday, going 2-4 with a walk. He has reached base 62 times (48 hits, 14 walks) in just 30 games. Negrych leads all of baseball with a .414 batting average and is also tops in the IL in on-base pct. (.473). He ranks tied for 1st in the IL in doubles (14) and 3rd in slugging pct. (.629).

The Bisons have 4 of the top 7 averages in the league with INF LUIS JIMENEZ (2nd, .367), C JOSH THOLE (6th, .337) and OF MOISES SIERRA (7th, .336)...Jimenez also leads the IL with 36 RBI...RHP NEIL WAGNER has allowed just 3 hits in his last 12.2 innings of work.
"ÃËThe Blue Jays (17-24) picked up their second straight blowout win over the Giants, 11-3. Former Bisons RHP RAMON ORTIZ allowed just one run in seven innings and Toronto got homers from INF ADAM LIND and C J.P. ARENCIBIA. The Blue Jays are off today.
