TODAY'S GAME: Tonight, the Buffalo Bisons take on the Gwinnett Braves in the third game of a four-game series at Coolray Field (7:05 p.m.). The Herd has won two straight over the Braves with victories of 4-3 and 3-0. The Bisons are now 2-2 on their season-long 10-game roadtrip. After tomorrow's series finale, Buffalo moves on to Charlotte for a four-game series with the Knights.

vs. BRAVES: The Bisons are 2-0 against the Braves this year. Last season, both teams won three out of four at their respective ballparks, splitting the season series 4-4. Since Gwinnett came into the league in 2009, neither team has won a series at the other's ballpark.

WE ARE FAMILIA: RHP JEURYS FAMILIA makes his seventh start of the season and his third away from Coca-Cola Field. In each of his two previous road outings, Familia has allowed just one run. In his last road start, Familia struck out eight in five innings of a 6-1 victory on April 22 in Syracuse. Since then, the righty has two no-decisions and a 4.50ERA (8.0IP, 7H, 10BB, 6K).

Q-TIP: INF OMAR QUINTANILLA brings a seven-game hit streak into today's game. Since May 2, the infielder has average .450 (9-20) with two doubles, a triple, two home runs and four RBI. All five of his home runs have come in his last 12 games. Quintanilla's five home runs and 17RBI trail only OF VALENTINO PASCUCCI (6HR, 18RBI) for the team lead.

CABRERA: RHP FERNANDO CABRERA has been nearly perfect for the Bisons this season. He is 8-for-8 in save opportunities to lead the International League. Cabrera is also 2-0 and has allowed just one earned run in 14.1 innings of work in 2012. The righty has been even tougher on the road this season, having allowed just one hit in seven appearances (7.0IP) away from Coca-Cola Field.

OH JENRRY: RHP JENRRY MEJIA has been transferred to St. Lucie (A) from the Bisons disabled list. The righty is recovering from "˜Tommy John' surgery on May 16, 2011. Mejia threw 5.0 innings for St. Lucie on Wednesday and allowed two runs on four hits in a no-decision (2BB, K). Mejia was 1-2 with a 2.86ERA in five starts for the Bisons before his surgery last year.

Former Bisons OF KIRK NIEUWENHUIS had a pair of hits and two RBI to raise his average to .310. Lucas Duda also had two hits and two RBI.
