Today's Game
Tonight, the Bisons face on the Durham Bulls in the third game of a four-game set at Durham Bulls Athletic Park (7:05 p.m.). The Herd has won four straight games, including a pair of victories to start this roadtrip. Buffalo is 10-8 on the road this season, the 3rd-best road record in the International League.
Last Game (BUF 2, DUR 1)
The Bisons tallied in the first and ninth innings to take the 2-1 win over Durham. OF Dalton Pompey hit the third pitch of the ballgame for his first home run and C A.J. Jimenez singled home a run with one out in the ninth. RHP Drew Hutchison allowed just one run over six innings with six strikeouts, but did not factor into the decisions.

With a win tonight, the Bisons can earn s series victory at Durham Bulls Athletic Park. It would be just their seventh series win at DBAP since 1998 and only their second in the last eight years (3-1, 2014). The Bulls visit Coca-Cola Field from June 13-15.
Scott Diamond
LHP Scott Diamond makes his team-high seventh start of the season tonight. The Bisons have scored just 10 runs in his previous six outings. Diamond has pitched with the lead in just three innings over his last four starts, during which he is 0-3 despite a 3.04 ERA. Diamond won 11 games with the Bulls last season, including a 6-4 record at DBAP, and led the club with 91 strikeouts in 28 outings.
Arm Strength
Durham's run in the first inning last night was the only earned run Bisons' pitchers have allowed during the club's four-game win streak. The staff has struck out more than twice as many batters (44) as hits allowed (21) over the last 36.0 innings of work. The stretch as dropped the team's overall ERA almost a half a run from 3.83 to 3.38.

Buffalo's last seven victories, including all four during their current win streak, have been by three runs or less. Buffalo is 6-6 in one-run games this year. The Bisons are a perfect 10-0 when outhitting their opponents...OF Dalton Pompey's leadoff homer last night was the team's first since OF Ezequiel Carrera hit one on April 24, 2015 in Lehigh Valley...INF David Adams' 10-game hit streak is tied for the 3rd-longest active streak in the IL. He has averaged .480 (12-25) since April 24.
Blue Jays Update
The Blue Jays (18-17) won their second straight in San Francisco with a 4-0 shutout on Tuesday. LHP J.A. Happ got 26 of the 27 outs to improve to 5-0 while RHP Roberto Osuna earned his eighth save. Happ allowed just six hits and struck out five. SS Troy Tulowitzki homered and drove in three. Toronto looks for the sweep today at 3:45 p.m. local time.
