The Lehigh Valley IronPigs will try to snap their two-game skid on Wednesday when they take on the Columbus Clippers at Huntington Park. First pitch is set for 6:35 p.m.

RHP Mark Appel (3-1, 3.00) gets the ball for the IronPigs on Wednesday night. The Stanford product was tagged with the loss on Thursday vs. Scranton/Wilkes-Barre when he gave up five runs on six hits while walking four and fanning six in his five innings of work. Appel has fanned 23 batters over his 27.0 IP this season.

RHP Mike Clevinger (4-0, 3.03) will be on the bump for the Clippers. Clevinger earned the win on Friday at Toledo when he allowed two runs on five hits to go along with three walks and four strikeouts in 5.0 IP. In 6 GS this season, the right-hander has struck out 29 batters in 29.2 IP.

After a multi-hit game on Wednesday, Pigs OF Nick Williams has hit safely in 12 of his last 15 contests. In that time, Williams is hitting .344-2-11 (21-61, 2B, 3B, 8 R, BB).
